Don't worry, not all the rules are onerous!
But, we do need to set a few guidelines in order to ensure the greater enjoyment of all our clients.

Policy #1: We have Peak and Off-Peak pricing now!
Typically, a spa's busiest days are the weekends, holidays, and weekdays after 5pm. We have designated these "peak" hours, and have priced our services accordingly. We have designated 10am to 5pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays as "off-peak" hours, and services that start AND finish between these two times are given special "off-peak" pricing, which are quite a bit more affordable. Not every service is eligible for Off-Peak pricing, however, and services that are eligible for Off-Peak discounting are marked as such.
Policy #2: The greatest discount applies, and discounts cannot be combined.
Discounts cannot be combined - only the greatest discount that is available may be applied when calculating the final price of services and products. SpaFinder and SpaWish gift certificates can be used to pay for full-priced services and products only.
Policy #3: We value your friends' business. And your family's, too.
When you refer our services or products to a member of your circle of friends or family, we consider that such an extreme compliment that we will send you a $20 spa credit for each and every person who specifically mentions your name when they come for a spa service (we need your email address in order to send the spa credit to you). You can then save them up for a nice day at the spa for yourself.
Policy #4: Our cancellation policy is 24 hours on weekdays and 48 hours on weekends.
We aim to bring you the highest quality staff and level of service -
unfortunately, this is not cheap and good people are hard to find.
When you reserve a time with us, we not only guarantee your appointment
and service length, we are also turning away others who might want
your spot. So, if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice on weekdays, or 48 hours notice on weekends, we still need to
compensate our staff for their time, and we've lost other revenue opportunities
as well.
But we're reasonable - we understand that things "come up." Also, your business is important to us, and we are aiming to have a long-term relationship with our clients. So, in the event of a cancellation that violates our policy, we will charge
50% of the value of the services that would have been rendered, but we will allow you to use 100% of that cancellation fee towards your next appointment with us, if that appointment is re-booked for a time that falls within 3 months of the original one. If you fail to appear for your
appointment and did not cancel with us beforehand at all, you will be responsible for
100% of the services that would have been rendered. Again, you may re-use 100% of this cancellation fee towards another appointment that you schedule and honor within 3 months of the original appointment.
Policy #5: Please be on time!
In fact, please be fifteen minutes early.
We want you to get the most
of your time with us, and we will be able to provide you with the best
service if we're not rushing to complete your service in time for the next client. Unfortunately, we do have a schedule to keep, so if you are late, we will need to cut short your service time commensurately. So please, do come early (and often)!
Policy #6: Please leave your cell phones, any children under 12, pets, and all
other worldly worries and woes at home when you come.
Part of the charm
of the spa experience is that you are creating a space for yourself, whether
to take care of your skin, gain inner renewal, or just get rid of troublesome
aches and pains. Other clients are also using our spa for these purposes,
and for the greater enjoyment of all, we respectfully request that you
leave all potential sources of intrusion or noise at home.
Policy #7: We will exchange any defective products within 30 days of purchase,
provided a receipt is presented.
It is our mission to provide you
with the highest-quality skin and body care products along with your services.
Sometimes you may like these so much that you wish to take them home
with you! Our skin and body care lines are either organic and handmade,
and therefore subject to variability in harvest, temperature, and other
conditions, or based upon medical research, and therefore subject to variability
in manufacturing processes. If you ever experience any irritation or other
sub-optimal reactions to spa products you've
purchased, please bring them back within 30 days of purchase and we will exchange
them for you for other products or spa credit of equal value.
