New Vibrational, Sound-Based Services Use Specially Calibrated Tuning Forks

Saratoga, CA - May 3, 2006 - Pavia Day Spa, a full-service day spa located at 12840 Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road, today announced the addition of “Harmonic Healing” to its menu of Soul Therapy services. Julie Hawkins, a long-time practitioner and master of alternative healing techniques, will be offering “Harmonic Healing” to Pavia 's clientele. Based upon the Acutonics® System of Sound Healing, Ms. Hawkins describes these treatments as “akin to needle-less acupuncture."

Certainly less invasive than acupuncture, Harmonic Healing utilizes specially calibrated tuning forks to clear the body of negative energy blocks and rebalance it, restoring harmony and health. The treatments, which are performed on fully clothed clients, can be used to target specific problems or simply as a seasonal “tune-up.” They are also an effective complement to massage therapy, as they ignite the energy flow of the body making it easier on the massage therapist while amplifying the therapeutic benefits of the massage.

How does it work? The Acutonics® Healing System calls for each of its extensively trained specialists to apply the calibrated tuning forks to specific acupuncture and acupressure points on or off the body, accessing our meridian and chakra systems. These tuning forks represent a natural harmonic series based upon the orbital and vibrational properties of various celestial bodies, including the Earth, Moon, Sun, and planets. The forks are activated using a special Acutonics® pad, then placed on the body or held near the ears.
