
The Pavia membership program is an innovative, one-of-a-kind program designed to help you achieve true health and wellness through more frequent visits to our spa. Wellness is not achieved with just one visit per year, per quarter, or even per month. According to Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine, a daily massage and aromatic bath is the way to health.
Understandably, daily visits are not practical. But certainly 2-3 times a month should be possible from a time point of view. However, most spa's a la carte prices can make this unfeasible for all but the most wealthy of spa-goers, and to us at Pavia, everyone deserves health, not just those who can afford it.
So how are we making it possible to have 2-3 visits per month? Well, we instituted a Membership Program that creates significant benefits for our members. There are two levels of membership, and details are as follows:
- Pavia Health Nut: For $20 per month, payable on the first of each month, you get 20% off all services that you receive, anytime, ALL THE TIME. Yes, this means that for those services that are designated as Off-Peak, you can have an additional 20% off, for a total of 36% off of full-price!
- Pavia Health Advocate: For $25 per month, payable on the first of each month, you get the above discount on all services, PLUS, you get to extend your membership discount to two people per month for one visit each. This way, you are passing on the gift of health to someone whose health and wellness you care about! This is our way of helping you build community and make wellness accessible to your loved ones.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. Why are you offering this membership program in the first place?
A. It is Pavia's mission to create health and wellness for our clients. To be able to truly create health and wellness for our clients, however, we must make our spa services affordable so that they can be taken advantage of frequently (translated: MORE than once or twice per month). If our clients continue to see them as a "luxury," or "pampering," or a rare "treat," then they are only coming once a month, once a quarter, or even once a year. At these frequencies, wellness is not being created for the client.
In this economy, wellness and combating stress is more important than ever. However, we also understand that the economy is straining our wallets and our clients' perceived ability to take care of themselves. Therefore, we are doing what we can to "bridge the gap" - it's the Pavia Economic Recovery Plan, as it were.
Q. Do I *have* to become a member in order to keep coming to Pavia?
A. No, the membership program is optional. All clients are welcome at Pavia. Members simply receive preferential pricing when they do come - again, this is in the hope that they will come more often because each visit is more affordable.
Q. So what do I get for the $20/month price?
A. When you pay $20/month (Health Nut level), you receive 20% off all treatments. If that particular treatment is designated Off-Peak, then you get to take 20% off the Off-Peak price (for a total of 36% off of the full price).
Q. What benefit do I get for paying an extra $5 per month to sign up for the Pavia Health Advocate level?
A. The Pavia Health Advocate level is $25 per month. You get everything that the Health Nut gets, but every month, you also get to pass on your membership discount to two other people of your choosing, for one visit each. This way, you become a "Health Advocate" and make it affordable for those you love to maintain their health and sanity as well.
Q. Does it have to be two different people every month? Or can I keep giving it to the same two people?
A. That's up to you. You can keep offering your code to the same two people each month, if you want. You can even offer your code to the same person each month, and they can make two visits with your discount.
Q. How do I pass on this code?
A. On the first day of the new month, you will receive a separate email which contains the Health Advocate code for that particular month. You then give that code to your designated guests, and ask them to use it while scheduling their appointment and at checkout time.
Q. Does the membership discount apply to gift certificates or products?
A. The membership discount does not apply to gift certificates or products, only for services.
Q. What happens if I can't come in a particular month?
A. Then you just "lose" the $20 or $25 you paid on the 1st of that month. That is why we set the membership fee so low - so that it is equivalent to less than a Starbucks a day, and isn't very painful to "lose."
Q. What happens if I buy a membership in the middle of the month, say, the 17th? Do I have to pay full price?
A. No, you pay a pro-rated fee for the first month that you buy the membership. Each month thereafter, you pay the full membership fee.
Q. I work at a company that has a corporate discount at Pavia. Can I combine that discount with the membership?
A. No, all discounts are going away except the Off-Peak discount. We do not combine discounts such as birthdays, re-booking, corporate, or other discounts here at Pavia. We simply allow you to use the best discount.
Q. What if I want to cancel my membership?
A. You can email or IM us that you would like to cancel your membership. We will simply stop charging your card as of the following month. However, we will not provide partial refunds of any "unused" monthly memberships - this would simply create too much administrative red tape for us.
Q. How many memberships are you offering?
A. We are not a large facility, and therefore must limit our memberships to under 500. If you are serious about your health and wellness, and want the best "bang for your buck" deal at a top wellness spa in Silicon Valley, then act fast!
