PAVIA BIDS FAREWELL; PASSES TORCH TO PRESTON WYNNE

It is with great sadness that we are letting you know that Pavia has lost its lease and is closing its doors. The economic conditions have impacted our spa severely. While we have been fortunate to have extremely loyal clients who have supported us throughout these lean times, we were just not able to earn enough to hold onto our space. We are extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to serve you for the past twelve years; it has truly been our pleasure and honor. Our last day of business operations at Saratoga Oaks Plaza is Sunday, June 27, 2010.

But there's good news...
One door has to close before another one can open. We are passing our torch to our friends at Preston Wynne Spa, a 26-year-old, award-winning day spa also in Saratoga, CA, located at 14567 Big Basin Way. Preston Wynne has invited ALL Pavia staff to apply for employment there, and many of us have taken them up on that offer. So, you will see many familiar Pavia faces there if you choose to follow us on our journey.

Preston Wynne has also asked us to continue our wellness program at their location. In fact, our owner, Mare, will become their new Wellness Program Director after returning from maternity leave, bringing the community of health and wellness that we started at Pavia to their facilities. She will be coordinating classes and events, and even teaching a few herbalism/Aromatherapy classes of her own.

Preston Wynne has also volunteered to redeem your unused Pavia gift certificates at their location, so if you have not used yours yet, you can either come see us at Pavia and use it before June 27, or use it for services at Preston Wynne after June 27. Preston Wynne will enable you to use the full value of your gift by redeeming its value over two visits, 50% at a time. (For example, if you have a $100 gift certificate, you would be able to use $50 on your first visit and $50 on your second visit.)

To encourage you to give Preston Wynne's treatments a try, they have created a special invitation exclusively for Pavia clients: You can enjoy your first treatment at the spa at half off; after your first visit you'll receive a voucher entitling you to enjoy the Classic Spa Facial, Classic Spa Massage, Organic Sugar Scrub or their 75 minute Rock n Rose Pedicure (which you can enjoy outdoors!) for just $59. They simply ask that this generous offer not be combined with gift redemptions or other promotions.

So this is a win-win for everyone: our employees have a place to land (should they choose to apply), our clients have a place to continue their wellness journey that they started at Pavia, our gift certificate holders retain the full value of their unused gift certificates, and Preston Wynne gets the benefit of one less competitor and our full support behind them.
